VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Analyst

Responsibilities

Perform all logistics functions relating to assigned customers; track all purchase orders from the time the order was created or received by the analyst through customer receipt of product. Securing delivery appointments; tendering of loads to carriers or other 3rd party service providers; scheduling with warehouse and internal operations; rescheduling of delivery appointments as required; handle any shipment related inquiries including overages, shortages, damages, and rejections/returns. Produce and distribute performance measurement reports applicable to each assigned CRP trading partner for the purpose of sharing performance levels with internal/external customers and provide an insight into Bush Brothers’ replenishment performance. Identify opportunities and/or issues relating to the distribution of our products at each trading partner facility. These activities are accomplished through the utilization of customer provided information systems, and where applicable, Bush Brothers ERP and Prescient Demand Planning and Replenishment systems.

Specialized Skills

Excellent knowledge and understanding of the grocery industry and related administrative, Logistics, and Supply Chain functions. Strong statistical and analytical skills with the ability to make quick and actionable recommendations. Proficient in using Excel and Word software, Microsoft AX software systems. A proven team player with the ability to work well with others in a team based environment. Advanced knowledge of forecasting software from both an operational and data requirements perspective.
