We are currently hiring both Box-Truck and Straight Truck Drivers for our location in Atlanta, GA.

Description:

As an Independent Box Truck Contractor for Groundtrans, you would follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements while delivering packages in a timely and efficient manner. The role is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying of big/bulky packages as part of a one or two-man team. Under tight deadlines, our contractors safely operate 16-26 foot box trucks as required to deliver/assemble orders to customers according to established procedures, in all weather conditions.

IC Partnership Details:

  • Pay Type: Revenue Split(50-60%)
  • Account Schedule:
    • Home every night
    • Monday-Friday Schedule
    • Day Time Hours
  • Account Description:
    • Localized Box Truck deliveries
    • Assembly & Installation of Furniture and Home Goods

IC Partnership Perks:

  • Weekly Settlements(NET 14)

IC Qualifications:

  • Valid DOT, MC # and Interstate Authority
  • MUST HAVE ALL WHITE 26-foot BOX Truck with lift gate
  • Business Insurance
  • Previous Air-Freight Trucking or Home Delivery and furniture assembly experience preferred
  • Have a team of: At least 1 Driver and 1 Helper
    • Your team must be able to lift items up to and over 75 lbs. on a daily basis.
    • Your team must have Basic tools for installation work
    • You and your team must have the ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
    • You and your team must be able to read & write ENGLISH fluently
  • At least 18 yrs. of age
