Position Overview:

As a Debt Management Company Representative at NCB Management Services, Inc., you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication with debt management and debt settlement companies. Your primary objective will be to negotiate and set repayment arrangements on behalf of consumers who are enrolled in their services. Your role is vital in helping consumers manage their debts and work towards financial stability.

Principle Responsibilities:

1. Communication and Relationship Management: Initiate and maintain regular contact with debt management and debt settlement companies. Build strong relationships and serve as the main point of contact for all debt-related matters.

2. Negotiation and Repayment Arrangements: Collaborate with debt management companies to negotiate and establish feasible repayment plans for consumers. Analyze consumers' financial situations and work towards finding mutually agreeable solutions.

3. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies when negotiating repayment arrangements. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communication and agreements.

4. Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and debt management companies throughout the repayment process. Address inquiries, concerns, and resolve any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.

5. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams, including the operations and finance departments, to ensure smooth and efficient debt management processes. Share knowledge and best practices to enhance overall company performance.

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in debt management, debt settlement, or customer service roles is valuable.

2. Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build rapport, listen actively, and effectively convey.

3. Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of personal finance, debt management, and repayment strategies. Familiarity with debt settlement and debt management industry practices is advantageous.

4. Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant regulations, such as Regulation-F, The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) guidelines. Demonstrated commitment to adhering to legal and ethical standards.

5. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess consumers' financial situations, identify repayment options, and navigate challenges that may arise during the process.

6. Customer Service Orientation: A genuine desire to assist consumers and provide exceptional customer service. Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle difficult or sensitive conversations professionally.

7. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for documentation and reporting purposes.
