**Job Overview**

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide high-quality care to a senior patient in her home. The ideal candidate would be fluent in English, have experience with taking care of someone, whether family or through work, plus have a basic knowledge of prescription as well as over the counter (OTC) medication.

**Responsibilities**

- Provide one-on-one care in their home, focusing on their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

- Assist with daily living activities, including taking medications at designated times, dressing, and using the bathroom.

- Able to stay and keep someone company over night (11pm-7am or 7pm-7am).

- Manage medication schedules and ensure patient take their medications as prescribed.

- Monitor patients' health conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare providers.

- Support patient with mobility issues, such as transferring them to and from bed or wheelchair.

- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for patients.

- Provide emotional support and companionship to patient.

- Communicate with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to ensure continuity of care.

**Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, primary language is English.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for short periods. Be able to lift or hold 135lbs (weight of the patient)

- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

- A passion for delivering high-quality care to a patient in her home.

Job Type:

  • Full-time mostly but some part-time available
  • Pay starting at $20.00 per hour

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • the senior patient requires 24-hour care
  • mostly 8-hour shifts
  • some 12-hour shifts (when other Caregivers are Off, on Vacation, etc.)
  • Typical Day shift is 7am-3pm (the 12-hr Day shift is 7am-7pm)
  • Afternoon shift is 3pm-11pm
  • Typical Evening Shift is 11pm-7am (the 12-hr Evening shift is 7pm-7am)
  • Monday thru Sunday, 2-week pay period
  • Full-time workers typically have Two (or more) days off per week
  • Full-time workers typically do Not work both weekend days in a row

Experience:

  • Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Required)

Shift availability:

  • Rotate on most/all shifts previously mentioned (Preferred)

Work Location:
