Job Description Summary:

i3 Technology Group manufactures, assembles, and supports the design of mission critical electronic solutions and systems for current and future industry needs. We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant.

This position supports the general accounting activities of the business.

General Duties/Functions/Accountability/Scope:

  • Compiles and analyzes financial data
  • Work Month-end Reports and Reconciliation for General Ledger Accounts
  • Complete Journal Entries and postings.
  • Creates weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual reports and ensures accuracy of the process
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job but explores alternatives when established processes are insufficient
  • Is expected to operate with minimal supervision on a routine basis
  • Other Duties as needed

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Professional finance experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Requires creativity and significant analytical ability
  • Requires high degree of personal accountability and fiduciary perspective
  • Requires good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel (VLookups, pivot tables, etc.)

Education:

  • 5+ years relevant experience
