Trucks need to be picked up in Monticello, IL

We are an aerial application service looking for individuals holding a CDL Class A Driver to drive our hopper bottoms. Individuals would be picking up fertilizer at the port and transporting it to whichever airport we are currently working out of. We travel for a consecutive 6 months so this person would need to be able to be gone for 6 months out of the year, or on/off two weeks at a time. Pay is a weekly salary of 500 dollars as well as 30% of every load. Hazmat is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
  • Load and unload cargo
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect the truck before and after the trip

Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A License
  • HazMat Endorsement and Tanker Endorsement is preferred
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong work ethic
