As a Sterile Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our surgical equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to strict sterilization protocols will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and help us continue to deliver the highest standard of care.
Duties include:
- Daily cleaning, decontamination, sorting, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment
- Maintains logs/recordkeeping on maintenance care and sterilization load
- Monitors effectiveness of sterilization process
- Prepares and assembles trays, kits and packs
- Rotates, stores and orders supplies as needed
- Assist Hygienist with charting and sterilization of rooms
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is required
- Proficiency in infection control practices and protocols
- Experience with X-Ray imaging and software (Denticon) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
