Chewning and Wilmer, Inc., one of Richmond's oldest electrical contractors, is looking for a BIM Modeler to join our growing team of VDC professionals.

Specific duties include:

  • Coordinating VDC projects within the MEP trades.
  • Modeling VDC Projects within the MEP trades.
  • Creating submittal views and sheets for customer approval.
  • Creating views, schedules, and build sheets for pre-fab.
  • Creating/Plotting layout points, used in Trimble operation.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 2 years experience in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with Revit and Autocad inside the MEP Trades
  • Experience with Navisworks.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades.
  • Strong communication skills with company employees and trade partners.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects, prioritizing work load and manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to read and understand 2D plans
