QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven culinary experience in upscale dining establishments (required)

• Culinary degree or equivalent education (preferred)

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams

SAPALTA  is one of the only full service restaurants serving both a locally sourced menu and a 100% Finger Lakes wine list. We are located in the heart of the Finger Lakes directly on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, midway between Watkins Glen and Geneva, NY.  We pride ourselves on providing our guests with an upscale dining and boutique hotel experience along with excellent customer service.  Join us in our mission to highlight the region's culinary treasures and provide guests with unparalleled hospitality in a stunning lakeside setting.

• Driven to achieve an ambitious goal: be the best restaurant in the Finger Lakes and highlighting the amazing food, wine, and beer produced in this area

• Committed to controlling food costs through efficient food preparation and inventory management.

• Committed to controlling labor costs through building a strong team and fostering accountability
