Job Description

Dispensing Audiologist

A busy, fast-growing Private Hearing Healthcare practice in the Haledon, NJ area is seeking an Audiologist for a full-time and part-time position. The ideal candidate must be licensed in the state of NJ. If you have a sales aptitude and a willingness to learn our proven sales and dispensing process, an exciting opportunity awaits you. The hours are 10-6 Monday-Friday.

Daily tasks and responsibilities

· Establish effective rapport with patients, conduct audiometric testing, and make appropriate recommendations for hearing aids. Establishing realistic expectations from the first appointment.

· Make ear impressions and ear molds, order instruments.

· Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, cleaning, repairs, questions or problems.

· Counsel patients and their family members effectively, answering questions and explaining the results to everyone professionally.

· Maintain documentation and patient files, make appropriate referrals, writing reports, and follow-up and maintaining records to ensure optimal patient service is provided.

  • Adhere to goals and policies established by the practice.
  • Maintaining the performance system for follow-up with patients and for tracking sales with new and existing patients.

Qualifications

· 2-4 years hearing aid dispensing experience/ children and adults

· Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.

· Bi-Lingual a plus.

The successful Dispenser will also possess the following:

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Strong organizational skills

· The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients

· The ability to work in a team environment

· The ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians

We offer an attractive compensation package with PTO time, Healthcare Stipend, Paid Holidays for full-time employees after the 90-day probation period.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
