Job Description

 

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Electrician Helper or apprentice to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in pursuing this trade as a career and is excited to learn skills and gain experience under an electrician. In this role, you follow direction or electrical schematics to help install and/or repair electrical systems. While construction experience is not required, we expect candidates to have some familiarity with hand and power tools. You must be able to follow directions, work at heights, and be willing to help with any aspect of an electrical project. We are mainly residential and light commercial service and construction.

 

 

• Support a Master electrician, Journeyman or Technician on various electrical jobs

• Work indoors and outdoors in summer and winter

• Work in cold and hot environments

• Work in basements or confined spaces

• Work around loud tools and equipment

• Work at heights

• Min of 40 hour week

• Ability to work longer hours, nights or weekends if needed

• Available for travel on a M-F basis if needed

 

Required Skills and Education

- Experience with reading blueprints or electrical schematics a plus but not required.

- Construction or electrical experience a plus but not required.

- Skills with basic hand and power tools

- Physical stamina

- Reliable transportation

- Willingness to learn

- Drivers license and clean driving record
