Job Type: Hourly Summary: We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Electrician/ Electrician Helper. Will need to work well under supervision, communicate well with others and have a high standard of integrity and professionalism. Assists with the work required for the Electrical construction, maintenance, repair and improvement of installations, equipment and grounds on the assignment. Receives general direction from the Foreman and Installers and is expected to exercise independent judgment in the field by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Requirements include: Have a valid driver's license, good driving record and personal reliable transportation. Maintain a presentable appearance on Job Sites. Should have experience working with hand/power tools and have your own set of tools.
- Assists with the work required for the construction, maintenance, repair and improvement of installations, equipment and grounds.*
- Assists a skilled or semi-skilled tradesman as directed.*
- Performs routine work in such trades as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, grounds, painting, roofing and other tasks of similar nature.*
- Performs duties as a helper in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, grounds and similar projects.*
- Performs such duties as hauling heavy materials, material handling, unpacking, restocking, work site material organization, demolition work and various other preparatory work for the trades.*
- Performs simple and elementary work not specifically related to the trades, such as transporting equipment or materials to repair roof or equipment, grounds work including snow and ice removal.*
- Observes work in progress and follows all safety procedures including the wearing of personal safety equipment.*
- Cleans up and disposes of waste and leaves customer’s site in as good or better condition than when job was started.*
- All other job related duties as assigned.
Math Ability:Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Equipment:
