Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to become a part of our team You will provide overall support to attorneys' needs for a busy family law practice. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the drafting pleadings, motions, final judgments, agreements, and other related documents
  • Assist attorneys in gathering discovery from clients
  • Review and organize discovery, assist in preparing client financial affidavits
  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Schedule hearings, mediations, and other case related meetings

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal degree with minimum 3 years experience in a family law firm OR minimum 5 years experience as paralegal/legal assistant in family law
  • Familiarity with legal research
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meticulous grammar skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
