Provides superlative service to Smart Extended Stay/Smart Housing Guests and co-workers in performing all housekeeping duties.

A high level of guest service is expected all the time. A strong teamwork ethic is also required and all coworkers should also be considered as guests.


✓Change and replaces all bed linen and towels. Gather and empty trash.
Sanitize and clean all restroom. Clean shower curtain as well.
Dust/wipe down all room surfaces including but not limited to windows, pictures, mirrors,
electronics, appliances and furniture.
Vacuum/mop/scrub/sweep all floors and walls.
✓Re-stock room supplies and amenities as needed.
Make sure all rooms are set up as per hotel standards.
Organize, clean and maintains personal workstations (wheeled carts) by properly stocking with
linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, as per housekeeping standards set by the Smart Extended Stay.

Check for damages, cleanliness and stains on all items.
Make sure all are working in guest rooms, such as lights, TV, TV remote, microwave, refrigerator, HVAC,
bath exhaust fan, water taps, shower knob, toilet flush, hair dryer, switches, door knob, smoke detectors, cold and hot water lines and water pressure.

Contact Maintenance Staff for any maintenance issue.

Write work orders/communicate work orders to the Front Desk and your Supervisor.
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, if required.
Move and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses, if required
✓Make adjustments to heating, cooling and ventilating systems.
Be able to work with cleaning chemicals as per safety standards.
Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Polish floors.
Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to the building operating systems.
Remove debris from all public areas inside or out.
Offer guests assistance whenever possible.
Deliver any items requested by guests to rooms.
Be responsible for resolving escalated customer relation issues.
Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
Respond to and follow up on all guest requests to ensure guests are satisfied with the hotels services and accommodations.
Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
Follow procedures for guests and coworker; safety and security.
Completes daily housekeeping reports.
Communicate with the Front Desk Staff and Housekeeping Supervisor when rooms are ready.
Report any maintenance, security and safety issues to Supervisor and the Front Desk Staff.
Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to Supervisor, Front Desk or the Manager.
Ability to efficiently work under time constraints.
Be able to lift, push, and or pull 25+ pounds frequently. Must be able to walk, stand for up to 8 hours per day.
