POSITION TITLE:      VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS

DEPARTMENT:         PROGRAMS

REPORTS TO:           PRESIDENT & CEO

CLASSIFICATION:    EXEMPT, FULL-TIME 

 

The Vice President of Programs at LifeNet4Families is a high-level executive responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization’s programs and services. This role ensures that all programs are aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives while also managing staff and fostering community relationships.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Program Development and Oversight:

 ·         Lead the development of innovative programs and initiatives that align with LifeNet4Families' mission and strategic goals.

·         Oversee the implementation of programs, ensuring they meet established objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.

Evaluation and Impact Assessment:

 ·         Develop and implement robust evaluation processes to assess the impact and effectiveness of all programs.

·         Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve program quality and effectiveness.

Staff Management and Development:

 ·         Manage a diverse team responsible for program delivery, providing leadership, guidance, and performance evaluations.

·         Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.

 Strategic Planning:

 ·         Actively contribute to the organization’s strategic planning process, ensuring programmatic goals align with broader organizational objectives.

·         Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance program impact and reach.

 Community Engagement:

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries to enhance program effectiveness and visibility.

·         Represent LifeNet4Families at community events, meetings, and other public forums.

 Grant Management:

 ·         Oversee the grant application and management process, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and successful reporting.

·         Identify and pursue new funding opportunities to support program growth and sustainability.

Quality Assurance:

 ·         Ensure the quality and consistency of program delivery through the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

·         Maintain accurate program records and documentation in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

·         Conduct assessments to determine client service needs and develop individualized plans to foster self-sufficiency and well-being.

·         Serve as an advocate for clients, providing linkage, referral, crisis management, and follow-up services.

 General Responsibilities:

 ·         Plan and coordinate program events, fairs, and drives to promote community engagement and support.

·         Maintain a high level of ethical conduct, including confidentiality and conflict of interest management.

·         Attend internal and external meetings as appropriate and represent the organization’s programs and point of view to various audiences.

·         Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

 ·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MSW preferred.

·         Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

·         Demonstrated success in managing programs with measurable outcomes.

·         Strong knowledge of community resources and counseling/social work practices with high-risk populations.

·         Experience working with individuals in crisis and providing holistic support services.

·         Ability to work independently with a strong sense of focus, clear boundaries, and exceptional organizational skills.

·         Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for LifeNet4Families’ mission

SKILLS:

 ·         Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

·         Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and partners.

·         Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

·         Proficiency in data analysis and program evaluation methodologies.

·         Experience in grant writing and management.

·         Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

·         Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passionate commitment to LifeNet4Families’ mission.

·         High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams.

·         Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
