Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Title Clerk to join our team at ABS Tag & Title As a Title Clerk, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of title documents for our organization. Responsibilities
- Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled in accordance with state law
- Prepares yearly renewal, title documents and submitting all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and all work products
- Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding work. Stays abreast of title regulations.
- Courteously interact with state/county offices, tag agencies, and customers to provide information in response to inquiries pertaining to the title transactions.
- Responds to email inquiries from all customers in a timely
- Troubleshoot problems and finalize the correct resolution when discrepancies arise
- Maintains an organized workspace/area that is conducive to the overall success of the company
- Send processed title and registration documents to customers
Requires skills and Abilities:
- Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone) and maintain alphanumeric filing system
- Basic computer proficiency and efficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Capacity to work in a fast-pace environment under pressure; meet time sensitive deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment or independently
- Previous tag and title experience (Preferred)
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Two years of office and customer service experience
