Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance
  • Brake repair/replacement
  • Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
  • Perform quality inspections, including steering, suspensions and exhausts
  • Conduct FHWA inspections
  • PM service and repairs on Dry Van trailers and Tanks
  • Perform oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks
  • Maintain records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
  • Service calls
  • Preparing work plans for repairs
  • Coordination with Operations on a daily basis for equipment needs

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience as a diesel mechanic
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Computer experience needed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License, CDL a plus.
  • Must pass a Drug Test
