We are looking for a Caregiver that will strive to provide the best life for our residents and hold their wellbeing at the highest priority. The caregiver will provide services in one of our residential facilities with 4 non-ambulatory residents, including helping with basic hygiene and feeding, changing of linens, medications, and activities with each resident. A caregiver should feel comfortable managing minor emergencies and have a keen eye for detail while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. This facility is their home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This position is a rewarding and satisfying position but is also very demanding.

Experience is not required as we provide training and education. Our operating hours are from 6 am - 9 pm seven days a week.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Monitor and evaluate resident's state of well-being and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Mostly full assists for residents with daily activities, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating, physical therapy, etc.
• Planning and preparing meals per residents' dietary needs.
• Ensure the accuracy and proper documentation of medication administration.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with professional standards and legal regulations.
• Housekeeping duties - laundry, light cleaning, dishes, garbages, etc.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to residents.
• Assure that residents receive quality care according to facility policies and procedures.
• Detailed charting for residents' care
• Report any unusual incidents and emergencies to management team

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

• Must be compassionate, professional, pleasant, & supportive
• Must be able to act quickly, calmly, and responsibly in cases of emergencies
• Must have strong ethics, independence, and time management
• Must be able to pass a Wisconsin background check
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
