Job DescriptionJob Description

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for assisting the warehouse manager and team members with clerical activities related to shipping, receiving, and logistics. This position reports to Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Checks the daily order report to ensure all dated orders get released in a timely manner.
  • Communicates with customer service to have any orders on hold released.
  • Ensures all retail customer orders are confirmed & routed within 48 hours of their requested ship date utilizing customers’ websites and portals.
  • Communicates orders that will ship short via email to the proper team members.
  • Confirms and schedules customer pickups via email. Contacts carriers on any missed pickups.
  • Supports sales and customer service by providing shipping documents when requested.
  • Conducts daily dock sweeps to ensure all freight is shipped.
  • Liaison with transportation providers and carriers to ensure timely shipments.
  • Manages the flow of trucks in and out of the site.
  • Helps perform cycle counts and input cycle count data.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years Shipping, Receiving, or Distribution Center operations experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities at once.
  • Knowledge of BPCS/AS400 preferred.
