Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as administrator of employee benefits programs
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment practices
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Process and oversee payroll for 100 – 120 employees utilizing Paychex software
- Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records
- Develop workforce strategies to recruit and develop qualified candidates
- Mange the administration of workman’s compensation
- Process and respond to unemployment claims
- Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees
- On-board new employees
- Monitor vendor performance
- Implement company culture, values and policies
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition
Qualifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in Human Resources management as a generalist
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Experience within a manufacturing setting
- Understanding of HR compliance
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Fluency in Spanish language a must
