Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Security Administrator at 4EOS.  We are seeking a proactive individual to lead and expand our security department. This role offers significant growth opportunities for someone who is a self-starter and capable of taking initiative. The Security Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the security aspects of our client's IT infrastructure. This role includes implementing and maintaining security measures, monitoring security systems, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our security stack and handling tickets for all managed service clients.  Additionally, the Security Administrator will provide guidance and develop SOPs to assist our engineers in effectively securing our clients' systems.

Further, the ideal candidate will provide the vision to build and execute a business plan for the next 5+ years, including resource planning, leadership, and management to achieve targeted goals. 

This is an on-site role located in Greater Fort Wayne, providing hands-on support and maintenance.  The Security Administrator will report to the Service Manager, and be part of the 4EOS Leadership Team.

Qualifications

•                     Education:

o    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

•                     Experience:

o    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security, preferably within an MSP environment.

•                     Technical Skills:

o    Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection. Knowledge of network security, cloud security, and encryption technologies. Familiarity with systems such as:

§   Connectwise

§   Sentinel One

§   Huntress

§   Fortigate firewalls

§   Cybersecurity insurance and policy

§   Experience with RMM tools

•                     Soft Skills:

o    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o    Forward thinking individual that is service oriented

o    Past leadership experience
