We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team of clinical professionals. This position is a hybrid role combining remote work and in-person presence at our reputable outpatient clinic in Union County, New Jersey. As a Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adults and adolescents, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being.

What will you do?

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients' mental health conditions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and recommend appropriate interventions based on individual needs.
  • Provide medication management, adjusting prescriptions as necessary and monitoring patients' responses to medication.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric treatments and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
  • Serve as a supervisory physician for Advanced Practices Nurses (APNs) including activities such as reviewing and co-signing patient assessments, collaborating on treatment plans, providing clinical guidance, and overseeing medication management.

 

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) and an active medical license to practice in New Jersey.
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Experience working as a Psychiatrist in a hospital or outpatient setting.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
