We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented BILLINGUAL Patient Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their medical needs throughout their journey in our medical facility.

Your responsibilities will involve developing personalized care plans, coordinating various patient care services, and collaborating closely with patients and their families to ensure they receive the necessary medical treatment and support.

Working alongside a team of dedicated medical professionals, you will strive to deliver the highest quality of care and ensure a positive patient experience.

Your commitment and expertise will contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our patients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical and data entry task
  • Answer patient calls, emails and questions, including finding insurance estimates
  • Confidentially manage patient accounts
  • Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including about billing
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards & regulatory requirements
  • Provide patient consultations and recommended treatments
  • Discuss cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options with the patient
  • Work as a team player to ensure each patient receives the best service possible
  • Schedule any necessary outpatient appointments
  • Get prior authorizations for procedures
  • Scan documents into patient charts
  • Meet with patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, medications, and continuing care.
  • Assist care team with setting goals for quality assurance and best practices
  • Provide community resources and referrals for continuing care
  • Assist in locating funding for special procedures or other patient needs

 

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Patient Coordinator or similar role
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills to share updates with patients and other medical staff
  • Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide ongoing support for patients and their families
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Patient Coordinator
