Gill Electric Company is a family-owned and operated business in Wilsonville, OR. We offer competitive pay and employee and family dental/health insurance. We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Salary Range: $50-$60/hr

Location: Portland, OR and surrounding areas

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical systems according to local and national electrical codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ability to work with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Electrician license in Oregon.
  • Previous experience as a Journeyman Electrician in commercial settings.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, components, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
