Pharmacy Technician, Hospital Outpatient - Direct Hire

About the Position: Join our hospitals dynamic outpatient retail pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician. This direct-hire role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the best care and support through their medication needs. You will be part of a fast-paced environment that provides opportunities for growth and learning by also being trained in Long-Term Care (LTC) and inpatient settings.
Work Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Shifts: Rotating 8-hour shifts, including rotating weekends, nights, and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
• Use the Pioneer Rx system for order entry and management
• Provide outstanding customer service and patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and inventory
• Support both the inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations as needed

Requirements:

• Previous retail pharmacy experience
• Willingness to be cross-trained in LTC and inpatient hospital pharmacy services
• Valid Illinois pharmacy technician license
