Job Posting: GMP Materials Coordinator

Compensation: $20-$26/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week; standard business hours with potential for limited overtime.
Location: Travel between two sites in San Diego, CA (Drivers License is a must)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GMP Materials Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be the key link between our two locations, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Materials Management: Receive incoming materials from UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers. Handle materials according to GMP standards, ensuring proper documentation and storage conditions.
  • Internal Logistics: Drive a company vehicle (minivan) to transport materials between locations. Perform internal deliveries, primarily distributing materials to labs and teams at our NTP site.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Process shipments using FedEx software and manage incoming materials. Maintain general cleanliness of work areas.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Utilize Data Ninja and NetSuite for processing. Ensure GMP handling of materials, with a focus on segregating and documenting storage conditions.
  • Lab Support: Provide general assistance around the lab as needed, contributing to a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • GMP Experience: Strong understanding of GMP in a biotech setting, including documentation practices.
  • Detail-Oriented: If lacking GMP experience, must be highly detail-oriented and quick to learn.
  • Team Player: Exhibit an "above and beyond" attitude, with a strong orientation towards teamwork.
