Job Title: Injection Mold Operator

Schedule: 2-3-2 Shift (12-hour shifts,7pm-7am night shift)

Pay:$17.00-$17.75

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Injection Mold Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic parts. This position follows a 2-3-2 schedule, which involves 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis (two nights on, three nights off, two nights on, etc.). 7pm-7am

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on molds and machines, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the molding process.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Injection Mold Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes and machinery.
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule 7pm-7am, including nights and weekends.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to train the right person

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods during shifts.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery.
