Labor Solutions is seeking a Team / Shift Lead that will work with the building supervisor to manage the implementation of policies and processes on their assigned shift and will communicate time keeping concerns with their supervisor or manager. TEMP-TO-HIRE DO NOT MISS THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY

In addition to monitoring and ensuring work orders from clients and standard janitorial duties on their assigned shift are complete each day, this position is expected to help supervise team members and provide adequate training and support to operations teams. Quality customer service and a proven eye for detail must be provided at all times, and willingness/ability to be trained on and demonstrate to others approved cleaning techniques is essential.

Pay: $15/hr.

Hours: 5:00 pm-11:30pm Monday through Friday.

 

Daily job responsibilities/functions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Take work orders and communications from the building supervisor / account manager and relay them to front-line cleaning team members to complete necessary requests Understand and follow written and verbal instructions in multiple locations to complete nightly cleaning duties and maintain a standard of excellence with staff based on approved cleaning specifications.
  • Report on any human resource/clock-in/clock-out issues on a regular basis.
  • Oversee all training of new hires.
  • Duties also may include:
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
  • Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
  • Providing feedback to the office on inventory levels for ordering in client buildings.
  • Helping to restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
  • Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
  • Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
  • Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
  • Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
  • Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
  • Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times
  • This is a working position and will involve performing janitorial functions as well as supervising team members.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to use smartphone technology to receive and read emails/text with management staff.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively with a team, teaching and correcting proper techniques as needed.
  • Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Six months or more related experience including janitorial supervisory experience.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • A background check will be necessary on our end, you will be required to submit to a background check.
  • WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • The work is performed in an office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • The work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs.
