Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering department by assisting with various tasks and projects. 

Candidate can be a seasoned 5-10 year graduate BS and/or MS in Material Science, Metallurgy, Physics with demonstrated experience in the use of the Analytical Instruments named. 

OR

A recent grad from a BS and/or MS Program with educational, internship experience in the use of the Analytical Instruments named.

This person will work alongside an existing small team that analyzes and compiles and reports data for reporting

Minimum of a BS in Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or Materials Science

Experience with Analytical Instrumentation: Spectrometers (both Spectrophotometers and FTIRs), Microscopes, and other materials characterization tools.

Computer acumen: comfortable with Excel and MATLAB (a plus) and the statistical treatment of data.

Other qualities: a self-starter, well organized, good communication and be able to generate reports, monthly inputs to inform team members, managers, and customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

  • metallurgy: 5 years (Preferred)
  • materials analysis: 5 years (Preferred)
