Full Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Promptly greeting all clients upon appointment arrival and taking them back for treatment on time.
  • Assisting the MD/RN/ Aesthetician as needed administering all treatments in accordance with facility-approved protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Answering all client questions regarding services and products available.
  • Participating in and contributing input at all staff meetings.
  • Participating in company-approved and/or vendor-sponsored advanced training, and webinars.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and stock of all clinical treatment areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
  • Putting away supplies and laundry as needed and directed.
  • Standard clinical tasks such as charting, taking before and after pictures, downloading pictures into correct files on the computer, placing follow-up calls to clients, informing management when supplies are needed, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned or necessary, including but not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments, covering the front desk for lunch breaks, stocking products, filing, scanning, photocopying, faxing, etc.
  • Keeping Social Media active

Qualifications:

  • Must currently be licensed/certified in the state of NY as a Medical Assistant.
  • High school diploma or greater education required.
  • Must demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to explain services and products in detail to current and prospective clients and to answer client questions.
  • Must maintain a neat, groomed appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Must have the ability to work any/all work shifts, including evenings and weekends without schedule restrictions.
  • Previous experience working in a medical spa, plastic surgery, day spa, sales, or retail environment is strongly preferred.
  • Sterilizing instruments
