We are seeking a Level 1 MSP Helpdesk Technician to join our growing team in our Mansfield, Texas office.  If you thrive in an exceptionally fast paced environment, this could be the position for you.

 

Position Overview

 

The Helpdesk Technician’s primary tasks, responsibilities and accountabilities will be to assist the Companies clients and team members, while learning the processes and procedures of the Company.

 

-  Provide “front line” support

-  Answer and respond to customers as requests come in – These requests will come in via phone, email, remote session and or in person

- Ensure tickets are created for each issue and also completing the ticket, ensuring tie, detailed resolution(s), who worked with, etc.

-  Scheduling on-site visits if and when needed, thus providing proper ticketing information to the tech for combined collaboration and proper entry information

-  Escalation of issues to 2nd tier technician(s) if unable to resolve – work with 2nd tier level team member on how the issue(s) gets resolved in order to learn and provide that support moving forward

- Documentation of items/issues that are new and yet to be documented

-  Answer incoming phone calls on an as needed basis when necessary

-  Support other helpdesk technicians with issues as necessary

-  Other duties and special projects as assigned

 

Requirements

 

-  2+ years prior IT helpdesk experience

-  Strong written and verbal communication skills

-  Strong troubleshooting skills

-  Must be detail orientated and self-motivated

-  Ability to work with all levels of management

-  Must be able to effectively work independently and in team environments

-  Must be able to maintain work within a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently between multiple priorities

-  Advanced skills in MS Office/ MS Office 365

-  Active Directory knowledge

-  Use of IT Glue & Keeper
