Job Title: Commercial Janitorial Cleaner
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Janitorial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment in various commercial settings such as offices, retail stores, and public areas.
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents.
Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, restrooms, and kitchens.
Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Handle and operate cleaning machinery and equipment according to protocols.
Identify and report any safety or maintenance issues to management.
Carry out special cleaning tasks and projects as required.
Collaborate with team members and follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Prefer experience as a Janitor or in a similar role but will train.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies, and Safety Data Sheets.
Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery.
Strong attention to detail and conscientiousness.
Good physical condition and stamina.
High school degree or equivalent preferred.
Work Environment:
Flexible work schedule with various shifts including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Ability to work in different environments, adapting to the cleaning requirements of each space.
Capable of managing workload efficiently and meeting cleaning standards within allocated time.
Training and Certification:
On-the-job training will be provided.
Certifications in specialized cleaning techniques or practices are advantageous.
