Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team at our building material company. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts payable function, including processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, including generating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, providing financial data and analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in the building material industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
