We're currently seeking a skilled 3D Drafting Designer to join our team, focusing on CO2 Liquefaction and LNG Plants. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in the design and construction of cutting-edge gas processing and refrigeration systems.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented 3D Drafting Designer specializing in CO2 Liquefaction and LNG Plants. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering team to contribute to the technical design of gas processing and refrigeration systems. Your expertise in Overall Plant Layout Design and 3D Drafting will be instrumental in the design and construction of LCO2 and LNG Plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive Plant Layout drawings.
  • Develop 3D models for various equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and rotating driven equipment.
  • Generate Piping 3D models for a wide range of services, adhering to in-house Piping Specifications and relevant design codes.
  • Produce Structural Steel 3D models to support skidded equipment.
  • Prepare detailed drawings for equipment, structural elements, and piping for both shop and field fabrication.
  • Compile Bills of Materials and Piping Isometric drawings for fabrication purposes.
  • Facilitate model review meetings, documenting action items and ensuring project progress.
  • Adhere to project schedules and provide regular progress reports.
  • Review vendor and in-house coordination drawings for compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with piping engineering and other disciplines to address project issues promptly.
  • Validate vendor equipment against issued drawings and 3D models.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Associate degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience of 3+ years.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D (P3D) for 3D modeling.
  • Experience with Autodesk Advance Steel.
  • Ability to interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Preferred: 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Desired: Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D Spec Editor and Cryogenic systems.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Plant 3D - P&ID program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam REVU.
