Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Carrolton, TX

Onsite / Hybrid: Customer Office Onsite

Primary Skills:

  • Experience with prototyping and mechanism design.

  • Experienced in test fixtures and assembly-disassembly tools design.

  • Capable to define Load cases and ability to interpret results of FEA and integrate recommendations into product designs.

  • Experienced in manuals and test procedures preparations.

  • Experienced and deep understanding of GD & T per ANSI Y14.5M and tolerance stack up.

  • Exposure to International standards API (11D1, 19AC, 6A, 16A), ASME (Sec. II, VIII), DNV 2.7-1 / DNV 2.7-3 / DNV-OS-E101, OSHA.

Experienced with SolidWorks to develop 3D models, wire harnessing, assemblies, and drawings as per client’s standard, specification, and requirement

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Involve in New Product Development and Continuous Product Improvement Mechanical projects for customer's Product Engineering Customers.

  • Gather Product Development requirements from clients, detailed study of requirements and develop Product Development Processes (PDP) in line with Client’s business processes and propose enhancements to existing processes to improve delivery efficiency.

  • Develop and implement parametric methods in digital product development of Electro-mechanical Product components, assemblies, and systems.

  • Utilize 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software applications such as Solid works; develop parametric Libraries, Schematics, and 3D Routed Systems Design (RSD), and Service Engineering Bill of Material architecture; and use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Design for assembly, Design for Manufacturability, Serviceability & Assembly principles to validate the form, fit and functional requirements of deliverables.

  • Help team members to troubleshoot and fix Digital Product Development issues by offering subject matter expertise.

  • Define project delivery performance metrics, perform governance, and report quality and schedule metrics to the reporting manager.
