The Construction Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the execution of HVAC construction projects by providing essential administrative support to the project team.

This role demands a proactive individual who excels in coordination and communication, ensuring that project milestones are met efficiently and effectively from an administrative perspective. The ideal candidate will liaise with project managers, clients, and team members, and contribute to the project's success through diligent oversight and execution of administrative tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive administrative schedule for all project tasks.
  • Execute instructions from the project manager promptly and efficiently.
  • Participate in and contribute to meetings within the research and development department as needed.
  • Oversee project close-out procedures, including the collection and submission of warranty information, operation, and maintenance manuals to the Project Owner and Architect.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of project records.
  • Draft routine correspondence and manage outgoing communications including emails and faxes.
  • Organize and upkeep files, correspondence, and other project-related records.
  • Support the project team with various administrative tasks as required.

 

Skills and Specifications:

  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant, Project Assistant, Project Coordinator, within a construction company.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Education and Experience:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a construction or project-based environment.
  • Familiarity with Project Management software, Excel, and Word Processing software.
  • Understanding of the construction industry is highly advantageous.
