Position Summary:

The EGD Project Manager is responsible for ensuring all aspects of facility branding projects are delivered successfully. They will lead and guide operations, outside vendors and our customers on all facility branding related projects, as well as collaborate with designers and other project stakeholders to execute projects to the highest standards of quality, within budget and on schedule.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain comprehensive project schedules and budgets.
  • Consistently and effectively communicate with all project team members, vendors and clients to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure the proper resources are brought in at the right time to meet project milestones.
  • Deliver an extraordinary customer experience on level with the designs we deliver, addressing any concerns or challenges as they arrive.
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth and timely coordination and integration of design elements into the build environment.
  • Develop project estimates based on designed specs for future in-house and outsourced production and fabrication.
  • Gather information and resources and negotiate permissions and rights clearances to ensure team members have what they need when they need it to complete work.
  • Monitor that all milestones are being met, and reprioritize resources and staff as necessary.
  • Review design deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements and industry standards, as well as conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Document changes to project scope / budget and raise flags if timeline or budget must be reconsidered.
  • Look forward, anticipate bottlenecks in studio schedule or project risks and collaborate with the team to proactively solve.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in project management, design, construction management, architecture or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years project management experience with a related field; advertising, marketing facility branding, exhibit production, design, build environment, construction, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and project management software, building project schedules, estimates, and tracking financial information.
  • Understanding of branding, wayfinding and experiential graphic design a plus.
  • Additional years of education and experience may be substituted for each other, as determined by Human Resources.
