Financial Well-Being Intake Specialist - $1,000 TRAINING INCENTIVE
Are you motivated by the opportunity to help individuals in our community reach their financial goals?
Community Action is looking for an Intake Specialist to join our Financial Well Being team to make initial and ongoing client contact and also sharing information internally and externally. The role will support general operations of the Financial Well-Being programs throughout the participant recruitment and application process and data tracking process.
Starting Pay: $17.81/hour
The Role:
- Conduct the participant application and intake process; distribute applications as requested, review applications, calculate eligibility and priority, and send acceptance/denial correspondence.
- Communicate with participants about program expectations, concerns, and complaints
- Ensure entry of participant demographic and attendance data into agency data tracking system.
- Initiate creation of participant file per each program’s specifications.
- Facilitate participant scheduling and event reminders for coaching sessions and educational classes.
- Coordinate the distribution of Financial Well-Being program and specific classes or opportunities to identified community partners. Share program information with Community Action’s Communication Specialist for distribution via social media and print media sources.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
- Must enter position proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate English effectively.
- Must be able work independently to achieve multiple set objectives concurrently and work effectively under pressure
- Must be able to work with employees across the agency to promote services, and to ensure consistency of service practices.
- Must be able to protect the confidentiality of agency client data.
- Must be able to approach and communicate with a wide range of personalities in a professional and courteous manner.
