Overview of the Accountant role:

  • Support month-end close activities: prepare account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Perform cash applications daily
  • Process customer invoices and perform credit card reconciliations weekly
  • Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts and payment plans
  • Ad-hoc reporting as necessary

Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant role:

  • Minimum two years of experience in an accounting role
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems; intermediate Microsoft Excel skills - pivot tables
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
