Job Title: Tooling Technician & Industrial Maintenance
Location: Auburn, IN
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Shifts: 2nd and 3rd Shift Available
Join our team as a Tooling Technician or Industrial Maintenance Technician. You'll work closely with tooling personnel to maintain high-quality standards. This role requires precision, safety, and efficiency.
In Industrial Maintenance, you'll focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing PLCs and other automated equipment, involving both electrical and mechanical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tool Use: Utilize hand tools, wrenches, hammers, tube benders, air tools, and related accessories effectively.
- Maintenance and Repair: Assist in the repair and maintenance of tooling and equipment, collaborating with other team members as needed.
- Measurement: Use micrometers, depth micrometers, and calipers to ensure precision.
- Quality Assurance: Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in performing, checking, and documenting work processes.
- Safety and Efficiency: Maintain a safe working environment with good housekeeping practices and adhere to safety protocols.
- Instruction Interpretation: Read and understand work instructions, cooling diagrams, and assembly prints, remembering assembly and disassembly procedures.
- Tool Supply: Supply your own hand tools as required.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with a variety of hand tools, air tools, and measurement instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including assembly prints and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under supervision.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and efficient work practices.
- Must supply personal hand tools.
