We are seeking a per diem, on-call Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department As an RN you are responsible for a group of patients for a designated time frame implementing the Nursing Process. You work closely with patients, physicians, and other clinicians in order to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes. Samaritan Healthcare is designated as a Trauma Level III by the Washington State Department of Health (WSDH). This is an On-Call position working variable days and shifts.

You may qualify for the position based on the following:

  1. Current Washington State RN license.
  2. Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred. Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.
  3. Ability to perform the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients.
  4. HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire – AHA or equivalent.

Emergency Department RN Preferred Qualifications & Competencies:

  1. Moderate sedation training to be completed within 12 months of hire and annually thereafter.
  2. Emergency Department-CEN certification preferred.

This is an On-Call position working variable days and shifts.
