Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Ridgefield, NJ 07657

Duration: 8 Month W2 Contract

Shift: 3rd Shift (9:30pm-6:00am)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Handler to join a team in Ridgefield, NJ. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement and coordination of raw materials, finished goods, and components within a warehouse and production area. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established pharmaceutical company with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials according to specific material requirements
  • Prepare and coordinate material movement between warehouse and production areas
  • Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (Power Industrial Trucks)
  • Pick and prepare orders according to SOPs procedures
  • Store and transfer materials according to specific material requirements
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient material flow
  • Read and understand specific SOPs procedures
  • Lift up to 40 lbs/18kg and work in temperature-controlled rooms
  • Drive company vehicles on work premises (including a 26ft box truck) with a valid driver's license

Requirements:

  • Pharmaceutical or GMP experience
  • Experience in Athena (SAP) System for at least 3 years
  • Forklift certification for at least 5 years
  • Ability to read and understand specific SOPs procedures
  • Experience in shipping and receiving
  • Ability to prepare components for manufacturing lines
  • Valid Driver's License
