Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science and Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning (ML) operations, and proficiency in Google AI (Vertex AI) and Python. This individual will play a crucial role in delivering data science solutions, model creation, ML engineering (including operational tasks such as model training), feature engineering, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop and deploy data science solutions to address various business use cases.
  • Create and train machine learning models using Google AI (Vertex AI) and Python.
  • Implement and optimize feature engineering techniques to enhance model performance.
  • Design and implement reporting mechanisms to provide insights and track model performance.
  • Contribute to the operational aspects of ML engineering, including model training, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Work on both rule-based and Gen AI-based solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • Focus on use cases such as Threat Intelligence, Security Operations Center (SOC) alert optimization (False Positives), Insider Threat detection using UEBA (User Entity Behavior Analytics), IAM (Identity and Access Management), including role-based access, certification, and quarterly audit automation, and Risk Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data science, machine learning, and ML engineering operations.
  • Proficiency in Google AI (Vertex AI) and Python programming.
  • Experience building AI models for various use cases, including Threat Intelligence, SOC alert optimization, Insider Threat detection, IAM, and Risk Management.
  • Strong understanding of feature engineering techniques and model evaluation metrics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
