We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Private Money Loan Processor to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Los Angeles County, as occasional in-person meetings are anticipated. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end loan processing cycle, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of all loan applications and documentation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a thorough understanding of loan processing procedures, and the ability to work effectively with borrowers, lenders, and third-party service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Gather and analyze financial and credit information of borrowers.
  • Prepare and submit loan packages to underwriting for approval.
  • Coordinate with borrowers to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any issues.
  • Communicate with lenders and third-party service providers to facilitate the loan process.
  • Monitor loan status and ensure timely progression through each stage.
  • Maintain accurate and organized loan files and records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lending regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to borrowers, answering queries and providing updates on loan status.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in loan processing, preferably within the private money lending sector.
  • Strong understanding of loan processing procedures and lending regulations.
  • Proficient in using loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates the discipline and self-motivation necessary to work remotely while effectively managing and progressing the loan process throughout the day.
