Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels and purchase orders for assigned commodities
  • Prioritize projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely execution of commodity strategies
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize commodity performance
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the cost-effective and reliable supply of commodities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor commodity performance metrics and report on key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in commodity management, inventory management, or related field
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Exceptional at developing and maintaining relationships
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management or Certified Supply Chain Professional preferred
