JOB CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME

LOCATION: Aledo, Texas

REPORTS TO: Special Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bury Drop Technicians primary focus on the burial of CATV drop from the coaxial plant tap to the point of demarcation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Use and have knowledge of CATV hand tools
  • Able to manipulate connectors, fasteners, and wire using hand tools
  • Perform assigned jobs using trenching shovels, concrete saws, and pickaxes
  • Conduct other duties such as clean up, salvage of wrecked out materials and provided general assistance to other employees as needed
  • Ensure safety guidelines are enforced and weekly safety topics are followed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stop, lift, and dig
  • This position is exposed to outside elements (rain, snow, sleet, and heat)
