Registered Dental Hygienist

- Kathleen Balthasar DDS PLLC is located in Williamsville NY. We are a full-service practice providing general dentistry, family, cosmetic, periodontal, endodontic and additional services. We are equipped with modern facilities and equipment as well as digital imaging technology allowing us to offer exceptional dental care to our family of dental patients.

We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist part time. Mondays 9-5, Tuesdays 1-7 with the opportunity to grow into Wednesdays and Thursdays 9-5. Creating a healthy positive work environment is critical for us.

Responsibilities

• Always greet patients with a smile
• Ensure patients are comfortable in the dental chair
• Instruct patients in proper oral hygiene and post op instruction
• Record patients medical history, take blood pressure, digital x-rays, analog impressions
• Maintain sterilization
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments when necessary
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA and all other regulated dental policies and procedures

Qualifications

• EagleSoft dental software or similar
• Dental hygiene experience and/or formal dental hygiene training
• Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and infection control
• Computer proficiency
• Organizational skills
• Time management and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is critical
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective working relationships
• High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to the patients best care
