Veterinary Technician

Seeking an experienced techinican to help round out our team.  A successful tech needs to be professional, have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment, strong multi-tasker, be self motivating, be able to communicate medical plans to clients, client education and the ability to build positive relationships with clients. Position is open for full-time

Job Duties
• Assiting with surgeries
• Monitoring anesthesis
• Perform diagnostics, in house labs and xrays
• Prepare lab samples to go out
• Discuss recommend medical treatment plans
• Administer vaccines
• Perform treatments, IV cath placement, injections, IV fluids
• Basic husbandry for animals in clinic
• Client education, for basic disease and how to give prescriptions

• Assiting clients with their pets

• Assiting doctors with exams

Experience
3+ plus years is preferred
