Network Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with clients to understand their access control requirements and integrate our software solutions with their property management systems.

* Design and implement access control system installations, including hardware and software components, such as card readers, biometric scanners, access control panels, and related infrastructure.

* Configure and customize access control software to align with clients' needs and integrate with their property management software.

* Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure proper functionality and integration of access control systems with property management software.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to access control software installations and integration.

* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex integration challenges and ensure successful implementation.

* Provide training and technical support to clients and end-users on access control systems and software integration.

* Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in access control and property management software to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.

* Maintain and control computer networks and related computing environments, as well as software ( Windows server, Linux server and windows) hardware and configurations.

* Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewall, VPN)

* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and other network and system problems.

Preferred Candidate Will Have the Following:

* Must be able to speak and write English and Chinese

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role, specifically dealing with access control software installations and integration.

* Strong understanding of access control systems, including hardware components, software platforms, and integration with property management software.

* Proficiency in access control software platforms such as Lenel, Brivo, Genetec, or similar systems.

* Experience with property management software integration, such as Yardi, AppFolio, or RealPage, is highly desirable.

* In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, IP-based security systems, and database management.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.

* Microsoft Server /Client Operating Systems / SQL Server databases / Microsoft Networking Fundamentals

* Practical knowledge of the Dev Ops tool chain on Android and iOS platform / frameworks

* Understand iCloud Service offering such as SAAS, Azure / AWS Certified Preferred

* Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or industry-specific certifications in access control systems are a plus.

* U.S. Citizen or Green Card
