Telecare is hiring Registered Behavioral Technicians/Direct Support Professionals - Provide support to adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our new Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes in Anaheim & Garden Grove. Locations: Anaheim, CA and Garden Grove, CA
Pay:

  • $19.90/hr starting wage for candidates WITHOUT RBT/DSP I/DSP II certifications
  • $22.10/hr starting wage for candidates WITH RBT/DSP I/DSP II certifications
  • Gain experience and become a Direct Care Lead/Direct Care Supervisor a grow your career

Shifts:

  • 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Full-time: Sunday through Thursday OR Tuesday through Saturday
  • Part-time: Friday & Saturday OR Sunday & Monday

Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader, Direct Care Staff support and manage cases for members with Developmental Disabilities and other co-occurring disorders, helping them to live as independently as possible within our Enhanced Behavioral Support Home..

 

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 6 months minimum experience providing direct care and special services to persons with developmental disabilities
  • Complete the required training for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 6 months of initial employment and obtain RBT certification within twelve months of initial employment
  • Within one year of employment, all direct care staff shall complete both segments of Direct Support Professional (DSP) competency-based training course including the competency tests or pass the department-approved challenge tests applicable to both training segments. Proof of prior successful completion of both training segments and competency exams will meet this requirement

The Crisis Residential Treatment programs will provide short-term, 24/7 crisis residential services for adults ages 18+ via 16 beds at the Rancho Los Amigos Center, Olive View Center, and LAC + USC Center.
